We Love Thy Word, O Lord!

We are so blessed to have the word of the Lord so readily available. Whether searching my scriptures or searching the internet, I can find his word for me.

Broken Present

I found Sam yesterday after church. He wanted to give me his Mother's Day present he made in Primary (a pen turned into a flower - the other kids had already given me theirs). He was sad because it had just broke. Really, the card popped off of the ribbon tied to the pen. I could tell he was heartbroken over this. I knelt down and told him that it was just the card and that I loved his present. The tears flowed freely down his little face. I reached out to give him a hug and tell him that I loved him, but his little body was just stiff and unsure. Eventually he hugged me back. I think he needs more hugs.
